The scalable TransTalk 9000 Digital Wireless System plugs directly into your Avaya electronic key system or PBX—including PARTNER, MERLIN LEGEND, MERLIN MAGIX and DEFINITY systems—with no expensive adapters required. This enhances the value of your communications system by extending its capabilities throughout your business.

In addition, flexible TransTalk 9000 protects your investment as your wireless needs grow or change. You can start small and grow the system to support up to 18 wireless pocket phones per zone with an electronic key system or 30 system-based pocket phones with a PBX.

And unlike cellular systems that charge per-minute fees for air time, TransTalk 9000 is linked to your communications system, allowing users to make local and long distance calls with no air-time charges.

Flexible Range for Your Size Business
TransTalk 9000 is available as a dual-zone or single-zone system, with up to 500,000 square feet of coverage per zone.1 The dual-zone system can economically support wireless coverage for larger facilities—such as a three-story wholesale outlet or a manufacturing plant that spans two buildings.

With the TransTalk 9000 System and the sleek TransTalk Pocket Phone 9031, you can roam an average of 700 feet from the base station or further in an open-air environment by strategically locating the antenna base station. The dual-zone system allows a single pocket phone to be used as you move from one zone to the next, thanks to a manual hand-off feature.

Administration
TransTalk System Pocket Phones are administered as if they were a wired voice terminal in the host communication system. Administration is completely integrated with the host.
