Responsibilities
- Responsible
for contacting and developing sales leads
- Closing sales
and ongoing servicing of multiple in house accounts.
- Research
markets, determine primary decision makers and make presentations
to internal and external customers.
- Responsible
for maintaining accurate and detailed notes and system information
for projects that you are working on.
- Responsible
for problem resolution dealing with system service including coordinating
with our Service Personnel as well as other field installers.
- Submits status
reports to management summarizing completed projects/tasks.
- Assist the
sales staff with proposals, presentations, job walks, and other
sales tasks.
- Work with
CLEC, RBOC, ILEC and other telco and data connection companies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (some or all of these requirements are required):
- Exposure
to telecommunications technology and structure is a MUST, specifically
telephone systems and equipment installed
on a customer premise (key systems, PBX systems etc).
- You MUST
be able to "multi-task".
- Ability to
work in a very fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Proven knowledge
of desktop software including MS Office Windows and Outlook.
- Proven communication
skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to
work with customers, management and engineering personnel at all
levels.
- Ability to
prioritize work assignments and focus on most critical tasks.
- Reliable
transportation.
- Ability to
work independently and to use common sense and sound technical
judgment to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Knowledge
of Nortel Meridian (Norstar and Option 11-81 systems).
- Must possess
the aptitude to learn new technologies.
- Have the
ability to work both independently and as a team player.
